The Campbellsport Public Library invites children of all ages to join us in a lighthearted reading competition. The reading challenge encourages families with preschoolers to not only spend some extra time reading their favorite books but to also spend time learning through playing, talking, writing, singing, and reading. The challenge log is very easy and fun to follow along with complete. When each child in the family finishes the challenge, they can come to the Library to choose a book as a prize.
School age children are being challenged to complete a variety of reading tasks, some are simple, some are silly, and some are more serious, of their choice to complete a bingo type puzzle. Elementary age readers will be participating in the challenge for a chance to choose a book of their own to keep. Older school age kids will be participating for a chance to win gift certificates to local restaurants.
A reading log can be picked up at the Library or download one from our website starting October 1st. If you have any questions about the contest or if you need reading suggestions or book bundles, please contact the Library.
This program, other dinosaur themed activities, and the new dinosaur books on the shelves at the Library this fall are made possible by a generous donation from the Campbellsport Jaycees.
